For adults with mantle cell lymphoma (MCL)
For Newly Diagnosed MCL
In a clinical trial, 598 patients with newly diagnosed MCL who cannot receive auto-HSCT* were studied: 299 patients received CALQUENCE + BR and 299 patients received placebo + BR. The primary measurement of the study was progression-free survival (PFS), which is the amount of time patients were on treatment before their cancer started growing or spreading.
~ 5.5
years
median† PFS
CALQUENCE + BR
This means half of all patients taking CALQUENCE + BR lived about 5.5 years without their MCL getting worse.

median† PFS
PLACEBO + BR
This means half of all patients taking placebo + BR lived about 4.1 years without their MCL getting worse.

67%
(199 out of 299)
Had a complete response, which means MCL not clinically detected
24%
(73 out of 299)
Had a partial response, which means MCL decreased in size
88 %
(263 of 299) of patients achieved a response to placebo + BR‡
54%
(160 out of 299)
Had a complete response, which means MCL not clinically detected
34%
(103 out of 299)
Had a partial response, which means MCL decreased in size
Overall response rate results were not statistically significant. In a trial, results are considered statistically significant if they are unlikely to have occurred by chance. Therefore, these results cannot be fully explained as an effect of the treatment alone. Talk to your doctor for more information about these results.
